Fourth Of July

Hurrah it is time to celebrate our freedom!!
We are celebrating on the 4th of July with a USA Tablescape.
There are blue candleholders and blue candles placed on a white tablecloth.
The small American flags are flying in a Waterford crystal vase.
The centerpiece is an octagon shaped covered vegetable bowl placed on two octagon platters.
On each side of the china stands a small Uncle Sam.
Each place setting has white stars on a blue mat.
The salad plate is also octagon shaped.
Each dinner plate has three American scenes around the rim.
The closeup of the scene shows the beautiful Lady Liberty surrounded by blooms of Dogwood.
The lovely teacup and saucer also displays Lady Liberty.
A stunning cobalt blue bowl atop a clear golf ball stem decorates the goblet.
The Saxon China with the Statue of Liberty pattern is so pretty with the U. S. flag flatware.
Uncle Sam with his drum and patriot cat is on the right side of the centerpiece.
Uncle Sam waves his flag with its red, white, and blue dressed dog sits proundly next to him.
The creamer...…..
and covered sugar bowl containing cream and sugar will go with hot blueberry tea or iced on this 4th of July!!
Fly your flag and praise our veterans and current military!!!!!!!

Birds and Bouquets

May is a time for blossoms to create a bouquet.
A sunny day to have sunlight steaming in the windows.
The birds are the center piece of this May table.
The little birds are accenting the table.
The blue bird tops the finial of the coffee pot. The yellow bird pops out of the china birdhouse.
The teapot bird feeder has a pink bird on it's finial.
The creamer and covered sugar bowl matches the flowered dinnerware.
Two precious white birds reside on the two teacup bird feeders.
A lovely place setting has a rim soup crowning the stack of china.
Pink and white table linens brighten the green flatware. A fruit bowl and bread and butter add to the china collection.
A salad plate with the scalloped rim create elegance.
Theodore Haviland's "Varenne" pattern is designed with a tiny pink flower garland on the dinner plate rim.
The matching teacup and saucer are very sweet for serving hot tea or coffee.
t
These truly elegant water and wine goblets have etched flowered bowls and stylish green stems and foot.
The closeup features the lovely etched flowers.

We will dine with grace and tradition on this charming tablescape.
