Shamrocks and A Leprechaun

 ARE YOU IRISH?
I'm Irish, English, Scottish, and part Native American!
I love the stories of the leprechaun with his pot of Gold at the end of the rainbow.
When my son was young he had a wonderful preschool teacher. She had the children in the class excited about St. Patrick's Day! She told them the story of catching the leprechaun! They went out to the play ground and tried to catch the leprechaun but could not find him but only what he left. The leprechaun's pot of gold, which was a black plastic cauldron with wonderful gold candy coins. The next year when my son went to school, he asked his teacher if the Leprechaun was coming on St. Patrick's Day?  With some explaining and  my help this great teacher celebrated the Leprechaun coming and finding he had again left his pot of gold behind but he was too quick to be caught!

I love the Irish traditions and the red hair of the Irish lassies like my Mother!
The St. Patrick Day tablescape is all things green with a touch of gold!
The tablescape is my catching the pot of gold along with the celebrating of St. Patrick's Day on March 17th!
