Tip your hat to St. Paddy's Day

The Luck Of The Irish To You
The table is set to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
I hope you will come to the party!
On the right side of the centerpiece is a large green candle holder with a white candle with green split peas as support. The green bowler is tipped for St. Paddy's Day and sports a shamrock flask. A bouquet of green and white is displayed in a green stein.
The green bowler is decorated with a celadon shamrock as is the green shamrock on the flask.
The left side of the centerpiece has a tipped bowler, too. This time the flask accompanying it has a green mustache.
In the background of the table. a banner spells out "Happy St. Patrick's Day"!

The coffee pot is situated on a square clear cake stand bedecked with the green "IRISH" sign.
You can ask us to pass the creamer
or the sugar to take your coffee as you wish!
The Irish flowers are green and white carnations with the addition of a few white jonquils
and with the sparkling top hats to continue the theme of hats.

Each setting begins with the green felt hat place mat.
As a simple white dinner plate by 10 Strawberry Street begins the layers.
The next plate is by Hutschenreuther with the pattern name of Weinlaub which translates "vine leaves" as the mark displays.

The lovely green vine decorates the scalloped rim of the salad plate. I was shopping a cute store and there appeared this porcelain china by Hutschenreuther. How happy I was to find the coffee set containing a coffee pot, creamer, sugar bowl, six cups, six saucers, and salads.
A green soup bowl will contain our green split pea soup.
This wonderful bowl is really the shape of the green Irish top hat with a shamrock and gold buckle by Clay Art.

Green flatware by Orfevres of Argent graces the setting with a tea towel of scattered green shamrocks as a napkin. The napkin ring is a green arm band with a shamrock saying Irish for the Day. Are you Irish or part Irish? It really doesn't matter you can be Irish by just wearing the arm band.
The green glass goblet is the pattern buttons & bows. Each place setting has a different individual flask and this one wishes "Luck of the Irish".
You may wish a cup of coffee from the pretty coffee pot or tea from sweet tea pot.
Your place of honor is at the end of the table, so please take a seat.
The cute sayings on each individual flask
is what signals a greeting of "I' shamrock ST. PADDY'S DAY"!

Have a wonderful time on March 17th!

Hearts In Love

Hearts are always the symbol of Valentine's Day!
Let's enter the dining room and what's waiting for us.
The white tablecloth is the back drop for the Valentine celebration!
Centered in the middle of the table is a bear wearing a red sweater.
Add to the bears were two
red and white
stripe bows.

Two red glitter hearts with Love letters crown the shiny red roses in the red vase balancing each end of the table.
Each end of the table is lighted by a red mercury heart shape votive holder.
The best part of this tablescape was finding these two red and white striped  teapots placed down the middle of the table.
A cup and saucer is added to the display with pretty gold trim.
The crystal creamer and sugar bowl is placed on its own tray.
Beginning the place setting is the red heart quilted and scalloped place mat with the coordinating runner.

The red handled flatware is dressed with a fancy cuff.
The red glass charger creates a red and then white layer.
Now I add a white dinner and salad plate onto the red charger.
The top of the stack is found a red bowl with an XOXO symbol of hugs and kisses.
A red soup spoon will be used as a dessert spoon for a vanilla sundae with strawberry topping.
Here you can sit and enjoy your self.
The top right hand corner has your beverages.
Your white napkin is tied with a red and white polka dot bow.
A gift for each person is the red petals heart shape plant.
The bright red goblet top on a clear crystal stem will be used to serve water.
A lovely tea caddy is perfect for this time of year.

Each person has a red and white stripe individual teapot and cup and saucer.
The saucer holds a heart shape tiny teaspoon.
The white Mother Bear sits at the far end of the table in an arm chair.
She is wearing an apron which coordinates with the other linens.
Daddy Bear presides over the head of the table and is very dapper in his red bow tie.
Hope you can share Valentine's Day with loved ones and friends.

Have a Happy Valentine's Day!

The Because Table........

The Because Table
This Christmas, my son, gave me three Boyd's bears! I was so elated, for I love their bears. Because of this, I knew there was a tablescape in the making.

This is the blue and white table with a wintery feel.
Now you can really view my bears.
The little boy bear in blue denim overalls is a cute next to the cream candle.
Let's light the candle to warm the scene.
Winter is time to think of snow and a snow bear with a blue knit striped scarf!
My son brought me flowers when I was ill over New Years. I used the vase for faux blue and white pansies.
Dansk Bistro is the perfect china for hot tea in blue and white for winter time.
A pretty bright blue woven place mat place on the white round tablecloth centers each place setting. The white polk-a-dot napkin symbolizes falling snow.
A star design on the goblet creates texture.
So sit down and enjoy a cup of tea from Bigelow's English Teatime!
The weather in January has been a roller coaster. Today is 75 and tonight the cold air is coming back!
