Loved setting this table, being a former elementary classroom teacher, it brings back memories of teaching Math. I absolutely love this set of Numbers china and used the cake plate as the top of the teacher's desk. The cutest is the pencil holder by McMillan Book Co. given to my husband, the Textbook Administrator for our local school district. He was responsible for almost a million books and dealing with the 85,000 student and the 53 schools in our school district.

Hi there,
I just love your School Themed Table setting! I just retired from teaching after 34 years and so yours was such a special blog for to visit. It is a strange September for me. I still am looking at the stationary and teaching resource aisles when I go into stores ~ it will be a hard habit to break. I am so enjoying playing with my pretties at home though and I am not missing the profession too much. I have kept all of my materials for my daughter who is going into the teaching profession. Thanks so much for sharing such a cute display! Have a wonderful weekend. Take care,
Karen

I came across your blog on another blog. Such a fantastic idea!! I love the way you set the table...it's exciting, colorful, and fun. I really never liked school, but I loved all the accessories of school around the schoolroom...acorns with happy faces, numbers and letters in fun, cheery colors, etc. So this brings back those memories.

Blessings for the day,

Marianne
