Bluebird in the Garden

The blue bird is the theme throughout this tablescape. My finding of Johnson Bros. pattern Vintage Charm is the beginning of the idea.
The colors of turquoise and green are shades in the china and set the tone for the accessories. The little bear is wearing a turquoise and green head band to complement the hues in the tablescape.
Our table is set
 with birds, cages and .............
The table is set to the left side with the tea set, a cage, candles, and candle holders.
A teapot in the Vintage Charm pattern has flowers and a bird cage.
Here is a close-up of the teapot.
To complement the style of the china is the bird cage.
On the right side of the table we view the
other tea set with the teapot
with the creamer and sugar bowl.
This teapot close-up the blue bird is pictured among the flowers and greenery.
The verde finish of the birdcage shares
the shading of the green bird inside.
What really excites me is the birdcages on a stand with the a tiny bird perching above. This is the darling salt and pepper shakers in the Vintage Charm pattern.
In the center of the table is the
garden setting ........
Gnomes are planting and watering the plants
The turquoise wheelbarrow contains a lovely plant ready for a place in the garden.
A set of two wooden garden seats are carved from stumps for the gnomes to sit and relax.
The sweet little blue bird is perching on the arm of the seat to begin singing his song.
Surrounding the garden setting are two white ceramic of embossed tree with a bird.
Now the Johnson Bros. china is presented with the salad plate centered on the layers of plates.
A blue bird perches on green filigree and blue flowers in the close-up.
To dine on the dinner plate, we will remove the salad.
A close-up of the precious turquoise flowers and green leaves ring the rim.
The bamboo place mat is trimmed in turquoise fabric with a mat blue place plate in the center. Turquoise and white lattice flatware accents the blue hues of the napkin and place mat.
Lovely etched flowers and butterflies on the turquoise crystal top and clear stem has a feel of elegance.
A mug has a blue bird place on one side and......
a birdcage on the other side.
A place setting is perfect to sit and share a meal with family and friends.
Please pick a place for the food is ready and waiting to be served!
Enjoy the Garden Setting and the singing Blue Bird!

I LOVE the turquoise touches especially, but the whole table-setting is so pretty. I like the way you mixed the china pieces, goblets, teapot, and all the accessories. When I visit the tea-time posts I always wish I could actually sit and have a cuppa with some of you ladies. It is so nice to have virtual tea with you today.

How well you played off the bird on the dishes to develop your theme with so many fun pieces. Your turquoise accents definitely add a touch of gaiety to the entire table.

The Vintage Charm is such a great pattern, and I'm in "want" for those amazing turquoise goblets. I have a feeling that they are by Stelle from Italy...the same maker as the hot pink goblets and the pink/lavender scroll goblets that I frequently use. Did you find them at Marshall's? They are amazing! The trolls are delightful! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

I am just floored! This is the pattern I just HAVE to get at some point. I just looked it up on Google when I saw it on your post, and it may be awhile before I'm able to afford to add it to my repertoire. The bluebird is my attraction. My brother who was killed in a motorcycle mishap in 1999 was a trucker with the handle of Bluebird. I HAVE to get this china!!! What a wonderful thing to have when we celebrate his life each year!!!

Your table is terrific! Thank you for sharing and turning me on to this wonderful china!!!!! Have a great weekend!
