Elegance is the theme of this 4th of July.
If you could sit down with any President at this table who would it be?
Uncle Sam leads the parade waving the flag
as he rides on his penny-farthing,
or bone-shaker if you prefer.
Sam welcomes you to celebrate
the 4th wearing the red, white, and blue
of the stars and stripes.
The red, white, and blue with a touch of gold encourages you to sit and partake in this special and festive date that gave us the freedom from the crown of the British Empire. This freedom will continue for our nation forever.
Royal Doulton's "Harlow" found in a quaint Shoppe was immediately seen as the center of this July 4th tablescape.
While the Boston Tea Party showed our feeling about taxes and the King, the taste of a good tea have always set well on the taste buds of our patriots.
This teapot with its gold, blue and white came from England called "Rita". To serve us the best of the tea flavor.
As you peer onto this cup, image your favorite President from US history sipping tea next to you discussing the freedoms we all share.
A pot of tea symbolizes the friendship that all of us can share with the entire world if they will just try a taste of the USA.
Hope everyone has a great, fun and safe July 4th.
Remember the troops
that
safeguard our freedoms every day.

Lovely patriotic teatime!
Join me for a July 1st Canada Day Tea as well for some N of the border patriotism =)
This is a fun, and colourful post to celebrate your 4th of July. Today we have our July 1 Canada Day celebrations but Canadians don't decorate much like our friends to the south do.
This is the best table for the 4th of July. Everything is so cute. Have a wonderful holiday. Blessings, Martha

Gorgeous table! The teapot is terrific and the setting lovely with the reds, crisp whites, and blues. The red and blue glasses were the perfect touch--as you said, fireworks lighting up the table as the light shines off of them and all the lovely golds on the table. Happy 4th of July!
This is very patriotic, beautiful and elegant! Pretty china and stemware. What a pretty table to enjoy for the 4th!
Wow! This patriotic table is really elegant. The glass and china pieces are so pretty...Christine
