Let's Play in the Sand
Shells found on the Beach

Enjoy the massive detail in all of the various pieces that create this tablescape.
The table is set for a seafood feast! Think shrimp, crab, lobster, corn, potatoes all the yummy tastes by the seaside!

The comical blue striped with white polka dots fish teapot was a stroke of luck on a visit to Home Goods! 
Aqua Blue Cottage beside the wire cream lighthouse.
Ships sailing on the aqua blue sea.
Centered with an aqua wire basket with shells gathered from the sea!
Shells, Ships mix with blue and green glass.
A sign tells the story of  "Sea Shells by the Seashore!
Miss Mermaid surveys the scene of shell and
While lounging on the side of the ship.
Blue boat skims over the sea.
Grasses being blown by sea breezes in the large shell planter.
A boat load of shells and glass in hues of whites, creams, sands, blues, and greens. 
A pastel blue with white trim sea cottage greets you for a calm but energizing visit to the seashore.
Seahorses are an accent to this precious abode.
A round window on the second floor for you to watch the sailing ships and waves roll in and out.
Lighting the way for ships safe passage is the tall lighthouse!
Lighthouse keeper does not have to climb the steps to tend the light for it is electrified.
You may choose to climb the steps to the lighthouse for the dramatic view of the sea.
A lovely seagull skitters in and out of the beach grasses.

Seahorses raising candle light to light the way.
A trio of candles and candleholders brighten the seascape!
Please pick up the handle of the lantern and carry it as you walk the shore on evening walks!
The seashell motif is everywhere!
Collect more shells as you walk the beach for each is one is a unique treasure.

That funny fish teapot is even more hilarious with the precious tiny fish finial!
This setting begins with the blue fish shape salads!
Fish scales give texture to the fish salad plate!
The large round white fish plate while hold the all the seafood, potatoes and corn you can eat!

The large fish plate smiles at you as you enjoy the feast.

Turquoise metallic place plate continuous the soft shade of blue.
Beach House linens decorate the place mat with aqua letters and starfish.
The table runner repeats the beach theme.
Linens of a turquoise tablecloth over laid with the fish net adds depth to the background. The white and blue stripe ripple edged napkins accent the white flatware.

The shell motif gives another touch to all the different shells.
The place setting is tied together by color, texture and shapes.
Silver fish shape salt and pepper shakers swim among the seashells!
The many layers of each place setting invites you to sit and dine.
Fish face to fish face!
Sail along the seashore on your own ship in this charming sailing ship place card holder.
The pretty blue and aqua strip glass will serve blue tinted lemonade to remind you of the blue colors of the sea.
Yes, Let's partake of this delicious meal!
The vintage goblet will serve chilled water with the food.
My sweet son visited Nassau, Bahamas this summer and it reminded me of my beautiful trip there years ago!
One of the gifts is the cute glass with to name Princess which is so appropriate for me.
This tablescape has been a pleasure to set for I love  visiting the seashore whether by dining or in person!

Pam, I just love your beachy tablescape! I just got in from the beach and it was a gorgeous day out there. Your shells, ship, lighthouse, fish teapot, fish plates, and coloured glass all make for a whimsical and fun table. Love the aqua and blue theme! Thanks so much for sharing with us. I am going to check out one of our lighthouses tomorrow. One I have never seen. Hope I can get some good pictures. Have a lovely day.

Your tablescape is perfection! Now where do I begin. Firstly, your centerpieces are so well done, they tell a story. The teapot made me laugh out loud. Mermaids.... I love all Mermaid themed items. Your plate stack is beautiful. Love the fishnet over the table and all your table linens. What a beautiful and fun, fun, fun tablescape.

Oh how wonderfully you created the ocean - on your table and in your commentary. I love all of the aqua a turquoise. They make the table so serene - I can almost feel the breeze off of the ocean. You have such a fabulous collection of beautiful treasures on this table, and your plate stack is gorgeous. I enjoyed every detail.
