My Birthday Trip to Denison and Sherman was a special for my sweetheart took off work just to take Mother and I. He had already decided where to take us and this was a real treat to get to go. The especially great part was his being with me all day. Thanks Honey for a Great Birthday Treat and Trip!
The windows of the antique mall in Denison were once for a dime store display. This mall is one of several along the historic downtown area of Denison.
On my birthday, Mother gave me a gorgeous teapot by Spode in the Mayflower pattern. The purple transfer ware is one of my favorites with the lavenders to the pink-burgundy rose. In the photo, one of my Snoopy's is holding the teapot and my Snoopy birthday card from Mother.
